you are getting so big, sunshine! you began to fit into your NB(newborn) sized clothes, so we picked up a few more outfits last week and you are already growing out of them. guess this is some kind of growth spurt,but it's awesome. your head used to be the size of an orange,now it's the size of large grapefruit.
you are a local celebrity now! we spent saturday at an Earth Day festival and your (our) photo was taken and it made the front page of the local and state section. we were at the cloth diapering stand talking with shannon about different folds for your pre-fold diapers and the photographer for the patriot news asked if she could take a few photos of us. the one they printed was of you in your sling just peering out all wide-eyed at the world. next to our picture is our darling lara doing what lara does: dancing!
i find myself wishing for things for you....but all things that will come in time as you get older, such as holding your own toys and terrorizing your brother doggie. so i am constantly reminding myself to enjoy this time with every cell of my being, because it's just such a short time where you are completely and utterly dependant on us big people. so please, don't go growing up too fast. i embrace your innocence and aspire to be more like you, trusting and non-judgmental and just flat out sweet.
