we had a very lovely weekend visiting with celeste and playing outdoors. such a wonderful time to get out of town with family and in this weekends case, the crows. lots of crows. flying around and also visiting me in my dreams. crows are symbolic of creation and spiritual strength and remind me to look for opportunitites to create and manifest the magic of life. i welcome their presence.
baby, you are teething. thus beginning my slow descent into hell. yikes. you need constant distraction and something to gnaw on and i have spent the morning researching ways to keep you comfortable. i do realize that this is temporary so i am able to take it all in stride.
you are spending a lot of your sleeping time in my bed instead of your crib. with your eczema and teething, i can tell you want to be close to me. i keep sneaking you into your crib,but you always find your way back to my side. so sweet.
when you aren't gnawing the hell out of everything or scratching yourself you are full of love and laughter and we are having so much fun! things are gonna be busy the next few weekends and then we prepare for me to go back to work and for you to begin daycare. i will really miss being with you.
